Human profiles, birds, skeletal creatures, urban architecture and hybrid bodies rise through a continuous black-and-white field. At the center, a figure extends upward toward the inscription that gives the painting—and the exhibition—its title.
The work presents imagination not as an escape from the world, but as a force through which existence continually takes form. Bodies, memories, animals and cities enter the same transforming pictorial space.
