A crowned figure rises through vertical bands and blue marks that can be read as rain, current, vegetation or script. Smaller beings occupy chambers around and within her body. Eyes recur. Signs gather. The painting seems to be receiving its own language as it forms.
She is Madre María, but this is no familiar annunciation.
She conjures the birth of two things:
water and poetry.
The series ends where a world might begin.
